$100 Dollar Bill

by Ted Ciuba

I’ve had people come up to me years later and show me a tattered 3 x 5 card that they’ve had folded and doubled in a $100 bill in their pocket. That’s nice—I love that.

What am I talking about? I’m talking about one of the things that I like to do; I like to talk to people about getting definite, and getting programmed. We do that by going through the Formula for Riches. It’s on page six of The NEW Think and Grow Rich.

It’s a simple little formula: Number One, how much do you want to make? Number Two, by when? Number Three, how are you going to make it; what are you going to do? There’s no such thing as something for nothing. Number Four, create a plan, whether it’s perfect or not. We create a plan in the moment.

Number Five, create a positive, affirmative, visualization statement of the four things that you just decided: how much, by when, how, what’s the plan? Just those things, by the way, will distance you far from the maddening crowd. And then Number Six: we program it!

That’s why we’ve written it on the card. And here’s what’s written: vivid visualization, present-tense associated, sensory rich (which we call vakogem) images of your money — the way you’re earning it, your plan. You wrap it in a hundred dollar bill so that you can charge yourself. You take it with you so you can read it frequently, commit it to memory.

You’ll end up writing other affirmations to it. The whole point is to have it with you all the time. And the reason I say to wrap it in a hundred dollar bill is because that’s the biggest bill that’s commonly available in the U.S. When you wrap it around that goal card, it means something. It’s a symbol of what you’ve got.

And, by the way, you can get creative with this. For example, I use a thousand pesos bill from the Dominican Republic. Well, now, a thousand pesos is actually, in real value, less than $100 U.S.; but in symbolic value, I’m looking at a thousand. And of course I like the Dominican Republic and I like international stuff, so it has other meanings to me.

But every single time I stick my hand in my pocket—and I’m saying I for you—I charge myself! I think of what I’m doing, of why, of the how, of the importance. I say my affirmations. I intentionally get hit with a bolt of lightning that stretches from the cosmos down through the Earth.

That is making infinite progress. Do this, stay on top. It’s your dominating thoughts that determine your actions. Your actions determine your results, as the self-fulfilling prophecy goes. It’s your dominating thoughts which determine your thought actions, your electrical, your vibrations—one of the major Laws—which kicks off the Law of Attraction.

You’re reminding yourself, with your goal card wrapped in your hundred dollar bill, how important it is, how deeply involved you are, how committed you are, and you’re doing it! Again, you’re reminding all the universe!

I wish you happy goals. Next time, show me your hundred-dollar bill wrapped around your goal card. I’m looking forward to seeing you!
