Letting Go of Limitations and Old Beliefs

Being stuck in old beliefs or emotions can result in your life not working the way you want. You are unable to see or hear advice from others including the spirit world or if you do you are not able to follow it. To change you need to be able to say yes to letting go. This is a choice you can make for yourself.

Changing your belief system is easy when you have reasons for doing so and you agree that you want to change. So you need to be aware of the reasons why you want to change.

Once you have your reasons then you need to say yes to changing the beliefs and letting go of the old patterns. I was talking to a student who was stuck in their life and it was not moving the way they wanted. When I ask if they wanted to let go, it triggered doubt in them. They did not know if they really wanted to let go or not.

Taking the action to release and let go requires that you say “yes” to what you want to let go of. When you ask this question, you need to listen to your internal voice to her the yes or no. When the answer is yes then you are able to make the change. However, if the answer is no, then you need to come up with reasons why you want to change and make it a yes.

To get the reasons why you want to change, first write down what you want, ie the opposite of what is happening in your life right now.. Make sure that the description is adequate so that if you needed to explain it to some else, they would understand.

Next, have two columns under what you want. One is Why change and the other is Why Not change.

Next, list all you can under both columns. As you do this you begin to see what is holding you back.

Once completed, for each of the reasons under the Why Not Column, ask do you really want these. If the answer is Yes, work out how you can keep it even if you change, or whether you are prepared to let it go. Until you are able to release most of the reasons under the why not column or know how you can change and still keep them, then you will not change.

Once you have more reasons to change, it will make it easier for your to change and let go.

They way you can Let Go is to see yourself as changed. In other words, do like actors do and act out as if the change has occurred. As you keep doing this the subconscious will then understand than accept the change. Once accepted in the subconscious the belief and limiting emotions and thoughts will be released and you will be back on track.
