Is there a place in your life where you’re feeling stuck, immersed in old energy or thought patterns? How are these past experiences and patterns serving you? Does remaining in old patterns and ways of thinking enable you to remain in a job you don’t like? A relationship that doesn’t nurture you? Are you choosing to stay with the old because it’s familiar or because it helps you be the best you can be?

How many times have each of us had a thought, an idea that excited and motivated us and as we continued to consider the impact, the change our idea would have, we slowly talked ourselves out of it?

What caused us to put our dream away?

Lack of time?
Lack of resources?
Perhaps we simply didn’t know how to take the next step. Either way, we allowed our dream to slip away; we failed to pursue our heart’s desire.

Realizing your dreams isn’t about time. It’s about getting started. They’re called dreams because they come from our passions and imaginations. They’re messages sent by talent and desire. A dream gives you a glimpse of what can be.

You can’t force your dreams to happen, but you can create the ideal conditions that will either invite or prevent your dreams from occurring. One condition that is absolutely necessary, you must nurture your own spirit. Pay attention to your own needs, treat yourself fairly and kindly, you can’t help others if you need help yourself. Get help when you need it, leverage those things others can do so you can free yourself up to devote your time and energies to the magic that only you can create.

I believe that everything that happens to us provides us with the opportunity to grow stronger, wiser, more creative and more diverse. Often our needs for safety, predictability and controlled outcomes prevent us from fully experiencing all our life has to offer. I believe that we can all truly learn to experience the perfection of each and every moment by simply letting our days unfold, letting each moment propel us to the proper action. We can choose to act instead of react.

The next time you have a dream, pursue it. yourself time to experience what your soul has to offer. Our dreams are opportunities to feed our souls, opportunities to fully experience life. Don’t miss your moment. Follow your dreams to find the life of your dreams.

How do you know if you’re on the right path? The same way you know you’re not. You feel it. Pay attention to what makes you feel energized, connected and stimulated – what gives you strength. Trust your feelings and you will surround yourself with things you love and living spaces that support and nurture you; spaces that will help you create the life you desire, spaces that reflect who you really are.
